Yup, rears are fitted up front.
It does seem like an odd fit, but Volkswagen and their test drivers did a lot of testing on the setup at Oschersleben and VIR.
From what I could tell from driving the Jetta car @ Phoenix, it felt great. Overkill? Well, we tested on Michelin racing slicks!
We have yet to find out who our series tire choice will be, but I am guessing BFGoodrich R1R or Toyo R888 r-compounds.
Yup, they are. In fact, the Jetta TDI’s are running rear R8 brakes, because the front R8 brakes would have required 19″ wheels!
