Volkswagen and FISHLABS bring the new Scirocco R to the iPhone as a high-speed racing game for the IAA. (Get it here on iTunes)
Appearing in time for the presentation of the new Scirocco R by Volkswagen at the IAA on 15 September in Frankfurt, Germany, the high-speed racing game Scirocco R 24H Challenge for iPhone and iPod touch will be available for free in the App Store as of 15 September.
Scirocco R 24H Challenge, developed and published by FISHLABS, with 265 HP and top speeds of up to 250 km/h in the Scirocco R, starts off in training mode on the 8 km long, 3D racecourse through the ‘green heart’ of Germany. As soon as players are satisfied with their lap time they can start the 24 hour race mode. In the final section of the 24 hour race, they must prove their skills against ten leading vehicles and lead their team to victory.

The multi-player mode provides even more adrenaline. You can have thrilling head-to-head races against your friends via WiFi. The great in-game sound is provided not only by the rich engine sounds of the VW Scirocco R, which were recorded on Volkswagen’s test track in Wolfsburg, but also a hot rock title from the newcomer band Eat The Gun, which is supported by the Volkswagen Sound Foundation.
