Update: 16:32 hrs. The second neutralisation of the race has come in the same 30 minute period. At 16:32 the two safety cars have entered the course again after a major accident involving one of the Audis. Mike Rockenfeller has lost control of the No.3 Audi R10 TDi in Tertre Rouge and impacted the Armco barrier with the rear of the car. At the time it left the track, the ‘oil flags’ were being waved in this location. There has been damage to the Armco barrier. Rockenfeller does not appear to be injured, but the car is severely damaged and is being pushed back behind the barrier. At this time, the driver is attempting to return the car to a condition that will allow it to return to the pits.
