Boost hose kit is on

Haven’t had a chance to run it but should tomorrow.

Used these threads as reference. Thanks guys!

Install directions from 1.8T_Moe

Lam’s install on PHILthebeetle

I started with the IC to Trottle hose. Suggested by 1.8T_Moe i went through the headlight. You need to remove the housing from inside by undoing the 3 torx bolts circled in red. One is outside the housing (far right)

Next was the Turbo to Charge hose. As 1.8T_Moe said, this was a PITA. I took the cowl off and it still was a pain. With a little fight you can get it on. Just make sure it’s clamped cause you won’t want to go back.

After that was the Charge to DV.. Now the kit comes with an extra hose that we don’t use.. no one knows why, it just does. Well I’m glad it did. Based off the image below, you can see the three together. Left is the one everyone is using on the NB. OEM in the middle and the Golf hose on the right. The NB on was way to long. I realized now after viewing I could have cut… The Golf hose had the best length, start and finish and matched the OEM much better.

I will put the lower IC hose on today. It’s no biggy. Then do a VAG-COM throttle body alignment.
