With a second and a sixth place on the sixth weekend of the ADAC GT Masters at the Nürburgring Luca Ludwig and Christopher Mies in the Audi R8 LMS fielded by Team ABT Sportsline have maintained their chances of winning the title. The two youngsters reduced their 16-point gap to the leader of the standings to nine points in the Eifel and will travel to the season’s finale at Oschersleben (October 1-3) as the hunters. Their team-mates Jens Klingmann and Frank Kechele scored points twice by achieving sixth and seventh place. Kenneth Heyer and Michael Ammermüller (Team Rosberg) finished both rounds in the points as well: in round one they took fourth place, in the second race the duo was running in fifth before Kenneth Heyer dropped to eighth place on a rainy track in the final phase.
