Great, great news! Audi will now race the new R15 at Sebring in a few weeks time and now will be in our backyard for Petit Le Mans on September 26th. Audi AG chief Rupert Stadler said they would return to full season racing in 2010 if the market starts to come back. He did not make that commitment, but he did confirm that the Audi R15 would compete at the Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta and possibly the race at Laguna Seca.
Now, for all who said Audi pulled out due Acura moving up to LMP1… bring it!
