This is a must for all you fans across the pond!
HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship race fans are invited to come and meet SEAT Sport UK driver Darren Turner, as the double 2008 race winner will be guest of honour at the HiQ centre in Banbury on Thursday 28th August.
HiQ’s Gatteridge Street centre (postcode OX16 5DJ) will welcome the public free of charge to the event from 6.30pm-8.30pm with Darren on hand to answer questions and sign autographs. A SEAT Leon TDI race car will also be on display.
Free food and light refreshments will be provided as will computer race simulators for fans to try their hand behind the wheel. There will also be a chance for the public to win tickets to see the BTCC – the UK’s premier motor racing series – in action just three days later at the nearby Silverstone circuit on Sunday 31st August.
“HiQ’s Fans Forums are a great experience for those who follow the BTCC but also the public generally, particularly families, who are looking for exciting value for money entertainment on the weekend,” says Darren.
“HiQ is a very pro-active title sponsor of the BTCC which prides itself on providing as much public interaction and access as possible. I very much look forward to meeting the crowds at HiQ in Banbury and answering their questions about the BTCC and the SEAT Sport UK race team.”
