Darren Turner proved a hit with fans when he and his SEAT Leon TDI appeared at Banbury’s HiQ centre last night (Thursday).

Turner, hoping to follow up his Knockhill win with another victory this Sunday at Silverstone, answered questions about the HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship, signed autographs and posed for photos.
His appearance marked the eighth Fans Forum staged by BTCC title sponsor HiQ this season in the run-up to a forthcoming race weekend.
HiQ Banbury centre manager Roger Milligan said: “We had well over 100 fans here, who were delighted to meet Darren and ask him questions about the BTCC.
“We would like to thank everyone who attended and we will all be cheering Darren on at Silverstone on Sunday.”
HiQ’s BTCC spokesman James Bailey said: “Darren proved to be a big hit. It was great to see so many fans engaging with him. We are all big fans of Darren at HiQ and we hope he has a great weekend at Silverstone. We wish him well.”
