SEAT driver Tiago Monteiro finished third and forth in the third round of FIA World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) at Monza (Italy).
In the first race an exciting fight, though very fair, was fought for third place between Tiago Monteiro, Norbert Michelisz, Tom Coronel and Kristian Poulsen. The conclusion saw Monteiro sprinting in his SEAT Leon 2.0 TDI ahead of Michelisz by 0.030 seconds to grab the final spot on the podium.
In the second round Monteiro was the best driver of a SEAT again. He finished fourth – just 6.211 seconds behind winner Robert Huff.
