“Easy button” 555hp in the MTM Audi S6

MTM Audi S6 C7 4.0 TFSI quattro now with easy button 555hp

Good news for all those who find that the 420 hp in the Audi S6-C7 4.0 TFSI quattro sometimes just doesn’t have enough grip. In the high-tech studio of Wettstetten manufacturer MTM, a power pack has been created that, when needed, releases a tremendous thrust power: 555 instead of 420 hp and a torque of about 700 Nm instead of the standard 550 Nm. That’s right – when needed! MTM united the M-Cantronic with the V-Cantronic in one box and set up the control in the MMI practically at the touch of a button: That’s so speed is available when you need it – up to 290 km/h after all. Whoever would like to take advantage of this boost occasionally – or permanently – can buy the option for roughly 3,700 Euro. A 4-pipe stainless steel exhaust system developed by MTM and fine-tuned on their own test stand complements the powerful ensemble for a price of 4,300 EUR including installation. When asked about the engine power, a simple “enough” was at one time the answer of the distinguished representatives of a luxury English marque, chosen by the aristocracy as their favored means of passenger transport.

“Enough” is also the answer given today by Roland Mayer, CEO of the exclusive Ingolstadt-based small-volume manufacturer, MTM, when asked about the power of the RS3 Sportback 2.5 TFSI. And the man isn’t wrong, as every conceivable high-tech component can be mounted under the bonnet of this four-door Audi compact car, which falls in the 340 to 472 BHP bracket – making it incredibly fun to drive. And because MTM always balance dynamic drive with quick braking, it goes without saying that adjustments to the braking system of the wildcat RS3 were required. MTM Golf GTI with 270hp

MTM Golf GTI with 270hp

MTM drops some new love into the 2009 VW Golf VI GTI. With the brains altered, the MTM Golf GTI jumps from 210hp to 270hp and hits 400nm of torque. They even went as far as adding a second air-filter.

To stop this new beast, MTM bolted on a Brembo kit with 380mm rotors and 8-piston calipers. To keep it stuck on the ground, a set of black 19″ MTM Bimoto wheels wrapped in Continental XL Sportcont tires were installed to improve its handling and stability.
