ALMS: St. Pete qualifying

It’s been a tech mess but it’s an all Porsche front row. both RS Spyders sit 1-2 with an Audi R10 in 3rd followed by the three Acura’s then an Audi in 7th. Remember, this year there are more Porsche RS Spyders in LMP2 now, they are in 8th, 9th. 10th is the non-factory Lola in LMP1.

As I said it is not going to be easy here for Audi. They are strong as shit and can take a beating but the weight will get em with the turns and traffic from 3 other classes.

Saturday’s starting lineup:

1. Romain Dumas, Timo Bernhard – Porsche RS Spyder (P2), 1:03.039, 102.79
2. Sascha Maassen, Ryan Briscoe – Porsche RS Spyder (P2), 1:03.189, 102.55
