This weekend is the final DTM race of the year. I have a bet on Audi / Eki taking the win. It’s kinda funny cause I’m a VAG fan at heart but work on the AMG site so a win for either will be great but I will lose a 10 spot if AMG wins.
The free practice session held on Saturday morning was clearly dominated by the four rings: At the end of the 60-minute session, positions one, two and three were held by three Audi A4 DTM, with Tom Kristensen securing the top position on the time sheets. On his fastest lap (1:34.636 minutes), the Dane lapped the 4.574-kilometre Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg 0.149 seconds faster than the reigning champion, his team-mate Mattias Ekström. While Martin Tomczyk, who was 0.297 seconds slower than Kristensen, finished third, thus completing the Audi trio at the front end of the field.
