In the first race of the season in Abu Dhabi, Dutch pilot Peter Kox will share the Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670 R-SV with starting number 5 with Karl Wendlinger. “We are glad to have Peter in the team. He is a great driver and has a lot of racing experience in Lamborghinis. He is a big asset for all of us,” says Swiss Racing team principal Othmar Welti.
Peter Kox is a successful GT pilot and competed in all 2010 FIA GT1 World Championship races in the Murcielago. He knows the car and most of the racing tracks.
The team’s fourth pilot, who will share the cockpit with Swede Max Nilsson, will be announced shortly.
