“The team did a good job and it worked well on new tyres. This is my first time here, so being on pole is good. The team is very happy as this is their first pole.”
Nr99 Marc VDS Ford GT
“This is the first race for us with the Ford GT, and being on the first row is always good. We know the race will be difficult, because of the tyres and it’s very hot, but I think we can do good. And Gael Lesoudier did a good qualifying also, so it’s good for us. The two Fords are completely different to drive, they look the same, but they’re completely different.”

“We are really happy to finish in P3. Yesterday we had a really good practice. Today I missed the first corner, so I lost a bit of time there, but I think it’s good for the race to start from P3 and I think we will have a good race performance, and we’re looking forward to the race. I don’t think the heat will affect me, but it will make for an interesting race and I think we’ll have a good performance, even if we have to save tyres. The temperature can be a problem for the engine, but if you’re clever enough, it can be okay.”
