SEAT and Shakira

SEAT, sponsor of international pop star Shakira’s European tour, made a joint appearance with the singer today, Wednesday, March 3rd 2010, on the second day of the Geneva International Motor Show.

During the event, one of the high spots of this world-class automobile show, SEAT Chairman James Muir led Shakira around the SEAT stand to show her the latest additions to the Spanish brand, such as the IBE concept car, and the new SEAT Ibiza ST.

  • Car company Chairman James Muir puts in appearance at company stand with international pop star.
  • SEAT, sponsor of Shakira’s European tour, announces support to Colombian singer’s solidarity work with her Barefoot foundation.
  • Performance by singer of one of the tracks on her latest album, She Wolf, brings event to finale.

James Muir and Shakira, both sporting the ‘Good Stuff’ badge, symbolising the collaborative project between the two, gave a detailed presentation to the audience of what form the project takes – sponsorship of the singer’s European tour, a soon-to-be-launched advertising spot in virtual animation and an all-embracing communication campaign will be just some of the activities.

For his part, James Muir announced that SEAT will be supporting Shakira’s solidarity work with the Barefoot Foundation the singer created when being only 18 years of age, aiming to make education accessible to all throughout the world.

The event concluded with a live performance offered by Shakira and her music band on the SEAT stand, singing one of the tracks of her latest album, She Wolf.
