With the 2013 Geneva International Motor Show coming up next week it time for the leaks to start appearing. Spyker has a landing page up which shows the highlighted outline of their new B6 concept. On top of Spyker coming back after a long MIA stint, news of a “Porsche killer” has the internet diggin for more. We’re hoping they return to racing!
The WSJ states the B6 Venator will have a mid-engine V6 putting out 375-horsepower. Add that to a curb-weight just over 3,000 pounds and you start seeing the Porsche killer rear its head.
Still don’t believe it? Do the math and you get a weight-to-power ratio of 8.21 pounds per horsepower. Can you say 911 Carrera territory…
Oh one more, the name Venator is Latin for hunter. Spyker Cars Chief Executive Victor Muller explained that in World War I, the Dutch called fighter planes hunters.
There is no news of the V6 being sourced from Audi like the C8 Aileron’s V8.
