Nine teams met for the first race of the second FIA GT1 World Championship season at the Formula 1 circuit in Abu Dhabi (VAE). Swiss Racing Team, having recently switched over to Lamborghini, was busy preparing both Murcielagos LP 670 R-SV for the race. FIA GT1: Jiri Janak completes Swiss Racing Team

The Swiss team welcomes another experienced pilot with Czech Jiri Janak. He will share the Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670 R-SV #6 with Max Nilsson (SWE). 27-year old Janák had already worked with team principal Othmar Welti and team manager Erich Kolb in the GT1, GT2 and other racing series. Othmar Welti: “Jiří is a fast pilot and he fits into the team very well. Our driver pairs are now complete and I am looking forward to start the championship next week with our pilots and our highly motivated team.”
