We recently showed you the 330hp Golf R modified by Sport Wheels. We guess they had a need for speed and took an Audi R8 Spyder up to 600hp. The same OZ Ultraleggera HTL’s were used on the R8 Spyder, in turn dropping overall rotational mass. A Level 1 ECU update will hit 565hp while the Level 2 will hit 600hp. (continue reading…)
News and rumors about the Volkswagen Golf R coming to the states has died down for sometime now. However, our friends across the pond have been enjoying its presence since January. Seven months in to the scene and a fair share of tuning shops have had their way with the Golf R. Starting with 266hp, Sport-Wheels increased it to a 330hp beast or bull as they call it.
