Today, Simraceway is giving you the chance to take Audi’s 2011 24 Hours of Le Mans-winning R18 TDI for a 24-hour track test drive.
The R18 TDI succeeded the R15 TDI as Audi’s LMP weapon-of-choice in 2010/11. The team put in an amazing stint and had the new 4.0L six-cylinder engine bolted in, tires on and out to pit lane for the start. After the two and a half hours, Falken Tire sits 13th in class with 53 laps in the books. Continue reading ’12 Hours of Sebring 2.5hr report’

Marcel Fassler, Audi R18 TDI #1 (Audi Sport Team Joest)
“We’re in for a thrilling race because the situation will be a bit tight for everyone with more than 60 cars on the track. Of course I’m expecting for us to be able to set the pace at the front of the field. I’m personally pleased to be able to battle for overall victory in an LMP car for the first time at Sebring. I’m also hoping for us to have the necessary bit of racing luck to do so.” Continue reading ‘Quotes from Audi Sport Team Joest before the 12 Hours of Sebring’
