As of now, applications for the Concours d’Elegance and the Rallye Historique are being accepted
After the huge success of Schloss Bensberg Classics held in September 2009, the second run is coming up: One of the most beautiful high-end events of the German vintage car scene is all set and ready to go. It will take place in Bergisches Land in North Rhine-Westphalia during 10 to 12 September 2010.
The main focus of the weekend event is the Concours d’Elegance on Sunday, run as an A-event by FIVA, in which around 40 first-class automobiles—including vehicles built up to 1979—are going to be presented and judged at Schloss Bensberg, located near Cologne. President of the high-calibre jury is the Head of Group Design at Volkswagen AG, Walter de Silva.
The Rallye Historique on Saturday will be a little more sporty. 60 classic automobiles—models built up to 1979—will be completing a tour of about 160 kilometres across the Bergisches Land.
Attendance fees per team are 1,490 euros for the Concours and 1,290 euros for the Rallye. The complete service range is included, from the entry fee and two nights’ overnight stay to the catering at the Grand Hotel Schloss Bensberg, a hotel belonging to the Althoff Hotel Collection and one of the finest of German grand hotels.
