StopTech Stage 2 Brake Upgrade Kit

The Stage 2 kit includes StopTech stainless steel brake lines for front and rear, 3 bottles of Motul 600 brake fluid, Axxis Ultimate pads for front and rear, and 4 slotted stock-sized rotors.

StopTech brake lines consist of a Teflon® inner line that is covered with a layer of stainless steel woven braid. The Teflon tube is very resistant to expansion under pressure and will not degrade from exposure to brake fluid. The stainless steel braid provides support for the Teflon and the weave is extremely durable against incidental impact and abrasion. StopTech brake lines feature a Clear Abrasion Resistant Cover for maximum protection against chaffing.

Motul 600 brake fluid
This synthetic fluid has a higher boiling point than stock fluid for operation in racing conditions. The boiling points are 312°C/593°F dry and 216°C/420°F wet. 500ml

Axxis ULT®
This Kevlar and Ceramic-strengthened compound offers far and away the best price to performance ratio currently available in a high performance street pad. Performing a proper bedding procedure is critical to the performance of this pad but once complete, you can expect truly world class bite, MOT, minimal rotor wear, pad wear, and noise levels. Dust is medium to high. On front engine platforms, the ULT is excellent for aggressive street and autocross use in the front calipers. It also works very well in the rear for applications ranging from aggressive street to moderate track use. ULT is NOT recommended for use on road courses in front calipers. Doing so can cause pad deposition on rotors as well as the resulting vibration. Street only. OK for club level track use in rear calipers.

SportStop one-piece direct replacement rotors fit stock calipers. Drilling or slotting helps wipe away the debris that forms between the pad and the disc, adds more bite, and can help the rear brakes to match the aesthetics of a front big brake kit. The rotor finish helps prevent glazing of the pads and improves wet and dry braking performance. Most StopTech rotors have a durable black coating on the non-swept areas of the rotor to prevent unsightly corrosion. Quality is assured as the rotors are manufactured to meet or exceed all OE specifications.
